about

‘The Plimptons are Cynical and Bloated’ is the 4th album by 6 piece Glasgow DIY Pop band The Plimptons and is released digitally worldwide on 02 April 2012.
The album provides half an hour of rough and ready garage pop taking its cues sonically from classic garage bands such as The Standells, mixed with the frantic pop sensibilities of The Buzzcocks, all delivered in their unique Glaswegian storytelling style with the deadpan social commentary of The Specials and the skewed observation of Half Man Half Biscuit.
